Water-wise Gardens
Developing a beautiful and water conserving landscape is rewarding. Water-wise principles provide homeowners with inspiring solutions. Water-wise benefits include less maintenance time, lower costs to sustain the landscape, reduced water bills, reduced drought damage or loss, and a natural looking landscape that fits the Castle Pines Village identity. Lower maintenance and lower cost also gives residents the opportunity to spend more time and money on things they enjoy.
T
o help residents as they plan or renovate their landscape, the Castle Pines Metropolitan District, Castle Pines Homes Association and the Castle Pines Garden Club have combined efforts to have the Castle Pines Educational Gardens installed at the District's facility, located at 5880 Country Club Drive. The Gardens were professionally designed following water-wise principles.
The Garden was built with funds from the District and the Homes Association along with contributions from many residents, local businesses, our landscape architect, landscape contractors and landscape suppliers. At this time 13 members of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado have contributed to the success of the project. Contributions are still being accepted for this worthwhile cause. In addition, memorial opportunities are available for residents, who may wish to have a permanent remembrance of their loved one.
