Landscaping in Rights-of-Way and Easements
When planning landscaping for your property, please be reminded that there may be utility and roadway easements along the perimeter. Before planting trees, shrubs or ground cover, preparing a flower bed, or placing landscaping materials (timbers, bricks, pavers, bird baths, statues, decorations, etc.) in these areas, please check with the Castle Pines Metropolitan District at (303) 688-8330 to confirm the location of utility and roadway easements.
Wintertime snow removal and summertime maintenance activities may disturb landscaping or other items inappropriately placed within the roadway and utility easements. The District cannot be responsible for repairing or replacing disturbed landscaping or other items in these areas, therefore we disclaim any responsibility or liability, and we ask that you please be conscientious with your landscaping plans.
