Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project

The Castle Pines Village Metropolitan District is upgrading aging infrastructure within its Water Treatment Plant to ensure long-term reliability, efficiency, and resilience. Many of the facility’s core systems are being modernized after decades of service, strengthening the foundation of our community’s water supply.

In addition to these critical upgrades, the District is expanding the plant’s capacity from 3 million gallons per day (MGD) to 7 MGD. This increase will provide the supply needed to support our growing community and meet long-term demands as we approach full build-out.

The project includes building expansions, site improvements, and utility upgrades that will enhance water quality, improve efficiency, and prepare the facility to meet future challenges. Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in Fall 2026. Once finished, the upgraded facility will deliver a modernized and more resilient water system for decades to come.
